Our Practice Nurse is available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Asthma review

For patients who are due an annual asthma review.

Please would you answer the questions on the form below and submit it to us.

If your symptoms are deteriorating or you have any concerns, please make an appointment to the respiratory nurse or a doctor as well.

Family planning

We can advise on all aspects of contraceptive care but we no longer fit coils or caps.

Cervical smears

We invite all women aged 25-50 and 51-64 to attend for a cervical smear every 3 or 5 years. This is usually carried out by the nurse. If you do not want to be recalled for a smear please let us know and we will take you off our list. We will inform you by letter of the result

Health visitor

The Health Visitors are no longer based at the surgery.  They can be contacted by telephoning 01522 308800 for help and advice on all matters related to pre-school children.

Maternity health care

Pre-Conception advice is available from the Doctor. The Midwife offers appointments Friday mornings.

 Healthcare assistant

Please see the HCA for the following routine checks:

  • blood tests
  • blood pressure
  • diabetes
  • NHS Health Checks
  • ECG’s
  • Spirometry

Travel vaccinations

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. This will include which countries and areas within countries that you are visiting to determine what vaccinations are required.
