The Partners are very pleased to announce that the move of Glebe Park Surgery has been formally approved, by Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board. Building work is due to commence on the new premises at the Carlton Centre Shopping Centre, and patients will be kept informed of updates. Once we have a moving date set we will communicate this to patients via text messages and letters to households. At the moment the move is anticipated to take place in the summer of 2024.
We would like to thank all of our patients, families and their carers, who took the time to respond to our request for feedback, and to those who took the time to attend our patient engagement events. Your input into the process has been invaluable to us.
Below is a summary of the feedback we received during our 12 week engagement exercise
Engagement Summary
- 12-week engagement ran between Monday, 20th February and Monday, 15th May 2023
- Methodology: Engagement included two patient engagement events and patient survey
- Engagement events were attended by 27 patients in total registered at the practice, majority of patients supportive of the plans.
- The majority of the 415 patients who completed the survey were in support of the practice moving to the Carlton Centre
- 98% fully understood (91%, 377/415) or partially understood (7%,29/415) the reason why the practice are proposing to move
- 93% of respondents considered this move to be very beneficial (71%, 261/366) or quite beneficial (22%, 79/366)
- The majority of free text comments were positive in sentiment supporting the move.
For the small amount of patients who had concerns about the move, the practice will consider these and agree the appropriate actions with our Patient Participation Group
